The White Turf races, held annually on St.Moritz’s frozen lake, attract tens of thousands of visitors to the up-market resort. This is the most important event on the Swiss racing calendar, and includes trotting, flat racing and skijöring. The horses wear spikes to help them grip the icy surface.(swissinfo, Julie Hunt)
